Hosted by the Hong Kong Markets Organisation (HKMO) with venue partner Lan Kwai Fong Association (LKFA), the Lan Kwai Fong Street Food Festival (LKFSFF) has been so successful that people would love to make it a regular annual event for fun and for munch!
This year the LKFSFF organizer is bringing spicy food from various parts of the world to gratify street food lovers’ needs with special aroma. The second Lan Kwai Fong Street Food Festival will take place from 29 – 30 April 2017, with an assemblage of over 50 local and international distinctive food/drink suppliers. The partnership Regency Spice will offer a range of their best quality worldwide spices to LKF and knowledges for spice lover to take home.
Besides yummy spicy food, sauces, spices, packed snacks and specialty drinks, this street party will provide the audience with engaging interactive entertainments, contests and workshops. Participants can take up spicy challenge, beer contest, or just get indulged in face-painting, hand henna activities. You may also catch up with the beats of live music by Ablib Studio, African Drumming by OULAMII SOOJ, Indian Dance, Magician tricks, as well as Juggling and Clown Performance.
Specialty food & drink includes Dreamix & Return Coffee’s Wasabi Macaroon with limited stock, so better be early to grab your favourite; Meat Dumplings in Extraordinary Spicy Sauce will shoot you taste buds to Seventh Heaven, prior warning – don’t complain that it’s too hot; Ahi Tuna Pineapple Salsa with Roasted Bell Pepper will be an easier catch for ordinary gourmets; watch out for WOW’s innovative Salsa Crunch with its crispy assault; last but not least pamper yourself with Filters Lane x Liquid Link’s Marshmallowpop Herbal Coffee/Spicy Espresso.
Noteworthy, pitching in the festive environment during LKFSFF will also be restaurants around the Lan Kwai Fong area, delivering popular delicacies and specially crafted food that you can seldom find on offer at their restaurants.
